Avendus Banking On Her is back after two highly successful seasons.

As a leading institutional financial services firm, Avendus is excited to launch season 3 of its flagship initiative that offers second-year female students from India's leading business schools a unique opportunity to step into the world of Investment Banking.

This competition is designed to deep dive into Investment Banking through leadership interaction and case study submission leading to a two-day immersion to Investment Banking at Avendus office in Mumbai, which will provide real-time exposure, networking and mentoring opportunities.

Eligibility:

Open to only second-year female students (graduating in 2027) currently enrolled in a full-time MBA programme at the following institutes:

• Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad
• Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore
• Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta
• Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode
• Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow
• Indian School of Business (ISB)
• SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai
• Xavier School of Management (XLRI)

Team Guidelines:

• Teams of 2 female students from the same campus
• A student can be part of only one team
• No cap on number of teams per campus
• Teams are final once registered – choose your partner wisely!
• Only registered teams will receive the invite for the digital launch of the competition and further details

Stage 1: Digital Launch & Problem Statement Reveal: 07 Jul 26

Stage 3: Presentation Submission Round: 07 Jul 26 to 26 Jul 26

• Teams submit their solution as per the details shared during the launch
• Submissions will be evaluated, and top teams shortlisted for the next round

Stage 4: Grand Finale - Immersion Event: 26 & 27 Aug 26

• Location: Avendus Head Office, Mumbai
• All shortlisted teams will receive a two-day, all-expenses-paid trip

Submission Guidelines:

• One submission per team (Details to be provided during launch)
• Only submissions received by the deadline will be considered
• All submissions must be original. Any deviation or plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
• Submissions should demonstrate independent thought, analytical depth, and commercial judgment, irrespective of the tools used.
• Final decisions rest with Avendus and Grad Partners

Rewards & Recognition:

• Cash prize of INR 2,00,000 for the winning team
• Total Cash Prizes of INR 3,50,000 on offer
• All finalists win an all-expenses-paid trip to Mumbai and exclusive Avendus goodies
• Certificates: All submitting teams receive certificates (Participation/Finalist/Winner)
• Pre-Placement Interview (PPI):
  • Final-year students (Batch of 2027) will be considered for PPI opportunities in November 2026
  • PPI opportunities are subject to individual evaluation by the Avendus panel
